Amarin sits in an acre of private terraced olive grove and fruit orchard, just over 2 kilometers outside the village of Apricale. Visitors to Amarin particularly enjoy the views of the valley Nervia and Monte Toraggio beyond, as they sit on the dining terrace.
The stone house has a well-equipped modern live-in kitchen with dining table, fireplace, fireside chairs, fridge, gas hob and an electric, fan-assisted oven. Upstairs overlooking the mountains are two double bedrooms, one of which is quite large, containing an extra single bed. The stone construction and its leafy site ensure the house is cool in summer but there are fans and bed nets in both bedrooms. The large dining terrace has garden chairs, fixed table, pizza oven, barbecue and sink.
There is a modern bathroom with toilet, bidet, hand sink and shower. There is a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board in a laundry room. Bed linen, house and beach towels, central heating and logs are all included in the price. Extra folding beds, cot, push-chair and high chair are available on request.
There are fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs available most of the year in the garden and orchard. Guests are welcome to enjoy these.
Rental for 2011 is £390 sterling per week.
